But, sometimes the Windows update stuck or becomes frozen during the installation done at startup or shutdown process i.e., when it is not able to install the individual patch.
The users can recognize the issue when they see a long message on the screen during the update persisting for the long amount of time.
It was a long time ago, and before I discovered Windows Lounge. (Reboots may have been unnecessary unless specified.) Everything worked. It kept getting stuck about halfway through its installation. I've read the thread and am a bit lost with the sophisticated methods suggested so far.
Somehow (and I cannot now remember how), I discovered the location of the file that was causing the endless reboot, deleted this, and restarted the Windows Update process, successfully this time. Do not attempt to download all files suggested by Windows update. I won't describe my joy at the next three hours of slogging through knowledge-base articles and various forums from results of a web search on the problem. This problem began long ago so the only time I use system restore is in HP rescue when I have to get out of the "reboot cycle" reboot after attempting to download all suggested updates. Had a similar problem on my Vista install (64-bit) that I ran for three years.
Cor Hello this is nabil almasri trying my best to share my opinion about this matter, and without going into details but rather sugesting that you use the computer original Cd that came along with the computer and its licience at the time of purchace and do asystem installation to software again from zero.
if you dont have the oregional cd or the licience is expierd then you woud need to contact the manufacturer or microsoft to obtain anew copy with anew CD.please let me know if this feed back was helpfull.
